Béatrice Tillier é uma desenhadora ja’ reputada. Acaba de produzir com Jean Dufeaux (cenarista) “Le Bois des Vierges”, ume série com 3 tomos (Ed. Delcourt 2009-2013) e cuja ação se passa na Idade Média, tendo como pano de fundo o lobo que habita as densas florestas que rodeiam os burgos que acompanham o suave deslizar do Sena da Normandie até Paris…
E’ um auto-retrato! E é também uma encomenda:é o cartaz que o “Festival Bulles de Mantes 2013” lhe pediu.
Béatrice Tillier representou-se no seio da nave da Collégiale de Mantes la Jolie. os vitrais ilustram cenas de pranchas do tomo n°3.
A Collégiale de Mantes la Jolie tem cerca de mil anos de histo’ria. A diferença entre uma Cathedral (ou Sé) é que a Collégiale não pagava imposto ao bispado, contrariamente às Catedrais que deviam submissão aos bispos.
